Trust me, this is the coolest song you will hear all day…or week..or month or, you get it!
Yesterday (day late sorry) marked the 98th Anniversary of the start of the Armenian genocide. Many of my relatives, especially on my father’s side perished during this horrific and still historically underrated part of history. We will never forget.

Azar Swan - Amrika
Azar Swan is the latest project by Zohra Atash. Previously as Religious To Damn, she released Glass Prayer a remarkable and under appreciated gem. This first single, Amrika, as Azar Swan is just great. There are rhythms, beats and instruments not usually found in popular music. It is it’s own unique sound. Listeners that are open to the musical sojourns of, say, Dead Can Dance or Gang Gang Dance might dig this. Finally, Atash’s voice is, as it always is, fantastic.
Sweet! Her voice reminds me alot of Kate Bush in this!
